WEB DEVELOPMENT

Custom website creation, from development to performance.

Sites and applications built from scratch, with a lightweight, semantic structure. Fast to load, easy to maintain and designed to convert.

Introduction

Custom website creation means building each page from the real need of the business, instead of adapting the operation to a ready-made theme. At Brickweb, every project is built from scratch, with a PHP, WordPress or Laravel backend depending on each case and, in e-commerce, with custom themes and extensions for WooCommerce and Shopify.

The result is a site that is lighter, faster and easier to maintain. A site that Google and AI searches understand, that meets Core Web Vitals and that the user does not abandon during loading.

Speed is not technical vanity. Each extra second of loading means one less conversion, which is why the project is born lean and functional from the initial structure.

// What we deliver

  • 01

    High-conversion landing pages

Pages built around a single action, whether capturing a lead, closing a sale or booking a demo. Copy and layout designed to reduce friction, with native integration to pixels and tracking tools.

  • 02

    Corporate websites

A digital presence that represents your brand positioning. Custom development, without generic builders, with a lightweight structure optimized for technical SEO and AI search.

  • 03

    Web systems and platforms

Login areas, admin panels and multi-user management, built in Laravel and Filament following the business rules of each operation.

  • 04

    WordPress and WooCommerce development

Custom themes, from classic to block theme, without heavy page builders. When needed, we build our own plugins and the APIs to connect the store or site to external systems.

  • 05

    Shopify and Shopify Apps development

Custom themes in Liquid, with sections and blocks the team edits without depending on code. When the store needs behavior the platform does not cover, we build private or public apps and integrations with external systems.

  • 06

    API integrations

We connect your site or system to ERPs, CRMs, payment gateways and logistics services, automating processes that today depend on manual work.

  • 07

    Maintenance and evolution

Your site is a living organism that evolves with the business. We track performance, apply security updates and evolve features over time.

// FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to build a site?

It depends on the scope. A landing page usually takes one to two weeks; a corporate site, four to eight weeks; systems with login and admin panel require longer timelines. The final timeline is set in the discovery stage, based on the real scope of the project.

How much does a custom site cost?

The investment varies with the number of pages, required integrations and complexity of business rules. A corporate site and a platform with a logged-in area are in very different ranges. Each proposal is quoted after discovery, with detailed scope and deliverables.

What is the difference between a custom site and a ready-made theme?

A ready-made theme carries generic features the project does not use, which increases page weight and hinders maintenance. A custom-built site includes only what is necessary, resulting in faster loading, better Core Web Vitals and a simpler base to evolve.

Does the site come responsive and optimized?

Yes. Every project is built to work well on mobile devices and meet Core Web Vitals, with optimized images, fast loading and technical SEO applied from the initial structure.

Do you migrate an existing site?

Yes. The migration includes content, URLs and 301 redirects, preserving the SEO history. When needed, domain and hosting transfer is also handled, with the old site online until the new one is validated.

What technology is used in each project?

The stack is defined in the architecture, according to the goal. Campaign pages call for static, lightweight structures; content sites call for a CMS the team can edit; online stores run on WooCommerce or Shopify, with custom themes and extensions; systems with login and business rules call for Laravel and Filament; scale and edge-processing needs go to Cloudflare Workers. The choice is never the same for every project.

Do you serve clients in other cities and countries?

Yes. The operation is 100% digital, with remote meetings and follow-up over online channels. Projects are run the same way regardless of the client's location.

Do you develop for WooCommerce and Shopify?

Yes, on both platforms. On WooCommerce, the work covers custom themes, our own plugins and integrations with external systems. On Shopify, custom themes in Liquid and private or public apps. Custom development comes in when the store needs behavior ready-made extensions do not cover.

What happens after the site goes live?

The follow-up covers performance monitoring, security updates and feature evolution as the business changes, in maintenance plans contracted separately.

Where is the site hosted?

The infrastructure is defined according to the project stack: static and Astro sites run on a global CDN, WordPress and Laravel projects on a dedicated server or VPS configured for the application. Shopify stores stay on the platform's own infrastructure. Domain, DNS, SSL certificate and backups are part of the delivery.
