APP DEVELOPMENT

Cross-platform app development in Flutter

Android and iOS with a single codebase, fast and true to the design. From prototype to store publishing.

Custom apps

App development in Flutter means building Android and iOS from a single codebase. At Brickweb, that means delivering the app on both platforms with less cost and less time than maintaining two separate native projects.

A single codebase means one fix that applies to both systems, a design that stays true on both, and an evolution that is simpler to maintain over time.

And it is not just the interface. The app connects with your backend, with APIs and with your management system, to work inside your operation, not isolated.

// From the published app to the panel that controls it, we deliver the complete solution.

    Cross-platform apps

Android and iOS from a single codebase, with performance close to native. Less cost and less time than maintaining two separate projects.

  • 02

    Progressive Web App (PWA)

When the project does not require native resources, the app runs straight in the browser, without going through store approval. Home-screen install and offline operation remain available.

  • 03

    Backend and API integration

The app connects to your management system, database and external services via API. Data, orders and users flow between app and operation without manual intervention.

  • 04

    Admin panel

A custom management area to control content, users and app data. The technology is defined in the architecture, according to data volume, business rules and the infrastructure already in use by the client.

  • 05

    Store publishing

Preparation of assets, listings, privacy policy and submission to the App Store and Google Play, following the review process through to approval.

  • 06

    Maintenance and evolution

Fixes, new features and adaptation to the annual Android and iOS updates. Without follow-up, an app published today stops being accepted by the stores within a few cycles.

// How we work

A lean process, from briefing to store publishing.

  1. 01/05

    Discovery

We understand the app's goal, the audience and the essential functions.

  2. 02/05

    Architecture

We define screens, flow, integrations and the technical base of the project.

  3. 03/05

    Development

We build the app in Flutter, with standards and review.

  4. 04/05

    Performance and delivery

Tests on Android and iOS, tuning and store publishing.

  5. 05/05

    Analysis and growth

Usage tracking, fixes and new versions.

// Why Brickweb

Apps made to run well, evolve with the business and live inside your operation.

  • One codebase, two systems

Android and iOS maintained in a single project, which reduces development cost and shortens the timeline of each new version.

  • True to the design

The interface stays consistent on both platforms, with no divergence between what was approved and what reaches the user.

  • Connected to your operation

Integration with backend, APIs and admin panel, so the app works inside the system the company already uses.

  • Web, app and server by the same team

The app, the panel and the infrastructure are built by the same team. No intermediary between whoever makes the app and whoever makes the API it consumes.

// FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to develop an app?

The investment depends on the number of screens, the required integrations and the complexity of the business rules. A catalog app and an app with login, payment and admin panel are in very different ranges. The budget is set after discovery, with detailed scope.

How long does it take for the app to be ready?

Simple projects usually take six to ten weeks until publishing; apps with authentication, payment and admin panel require longer timelines. To that, add the store review time, which usually varies from one to seven days.

Do I need to pay anything to Apple and Google?

Yes, and it is a client cost, not the agency's. Apple charges an annual developer fee and Google a one-time registration fee. The accounts should be in your company's name, so the app stays yours, regardless of who develops it.

Do I need to publish on both stores?

No. You can start with one platform and add the other later, without rework, since the codebase is the same. The decision usually follows the profile of the app's audience.

What is the difference between an app and a PWA?

The PWA runs in the browser and is installed straight from the site, without going through the stores, which reduces cost and eliminates the approval process. The app published on the stores offers full access to the device's resources, more reliable notifications and presence in the App Store and Google Play search.

Does the app work with my current system?

Yes, as long as the system provides an API. When it does not, the API is developed as part of the project. The app can consume data from ERPs, CRMs, e-commerce platforms and internal systems.

Does the app need maintenance after publishing?

Yes. Android and iOS release annual versions that change technical requirements, and the stores remove outdated apps. Maintenance covers these adaptations, plus fixes and new features.

Do I keep the source code?

Yes. The client receives the complete project and the developer accounts stay in their name, with the freedom to continue with Brickweb or with any other technical team.

Got a project in mind?

From prototype to store publishing, we handle every stage: from the first screen to the first download, from the first download to recurring use.
